Breakfast isn’t magic. It really makes no difference for weight loss whether you eat it or not. Each can work simply because it helps you to eat less. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Skipping breakfast can be great for some as it simply means that by not eating a meal, they reduce how much they eat in the day. This can be a great method for those that don’t particularly enjoy eating breakfast or tend to grab anything just because they feel they need to eat something (even if that choice isn’t the best).
Others enjoy eating breakfast. And some find that it keeps them full up until lunch which makes them less likely to snack. This in turn reduces how many calories they consume throughout the day. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Skipping breakfast won’t damage your metabolism. And eating breakfast won’t kickstart and rev it up for the day.
If you want to eat it, eat it. If you don’t, don’t. What matters most is what you prefer and whichever allows you to better control your calorie intake for the day.
